Celebrate Pride Month 2023 at work with a virtual party

Many of our hosts are from the LGBTQ+ community, but we cannot guarantee a specific host, as it is dependent on our hosts’ availability. You are welcome to include this as a note when you book, and we’ll do our best to accommodate. Regardless, all of our hosts are incredible and will show you a fantastic time!

We like to keep all of the questions and answers a surprise, so we do not provide any of the content beforehand. You can feel rest assured that you’re in good hands - all of our content is written by our in-house team and has been tested with tons of groups!

The content is all written in-house by our team which includes a member of the LGBTQ+ community. Furthermore, we’ve hosted this event for hundreds of groups and can ensure that it’s inclusive, educational, and fun!

Yes, your host will let you know exactly how each group is doing throughout the event. At the end, your host will reveal the final winner after all three rounds are completed. After an event, if you forget who the winner is, you’re welcome to email us and we can also send it to you after the event is over.

The standard event with no separate add-ons runs 60 minutes and covers three rounds of multimedia trivia, including a picture round, a music round and a creative questions round. All of these are themed to be celebrating Pride Month!

We prefer hosting all of our games on Zoom, but for trivia, we can also host this on Google Meet if you prefer (just let us know in the notes section when you book!).

When you book an event, we’ll create the meeting link and send it to you. If your group doesn’t have Zoom downloaded, that’s no problem. All of our meetings are able to be joined via any web browser, and no Zoom account is required to play.

The 60-minute event includes a live-host who facilitates the game and curated content just for your group. Every game includes 3 rounds of multimedia trivia (all themed for Pride Month!): a picture round, a music round, and a creative questions round. Every game also has a leaderboard and features team play, with a final winning team at the end.

Hosting a Pride Month themed event is a great way to celebrate Pride Month in the office! Organizing a Pride-themed team activity is a great way to both celebrate and educate, while creating a culture of inclusion. You can organize a Trivia, Celebration Games, or Music Mashup event which are specially themed for Pride Month, and hosted by a live host. You can also coordinate with c-workers to attend a Pride event in your local community, such as a parade, festival, or other events during Pride Month.

Here are some ideas on how to promote Pride Month in the workplace: Display Pride symbols and colors (if you’re virtual this can mean a special virtual background!); host a Pride event (a team building activity, happy hour, or a luncheon are all great ideas); share LGBTQ+ resources; update company policies to be inclusive of the LGBTQ community such as healthcare and coverage plans; and collaborate with LGBTQ+ organizations (sponsoring events, donating to charities, and volunteering).

Celebrating Pride Month virtually can be just as meaningful and impactful as in-person celebrations. You can host a virtual Pride-themed trivia competition, host a Pride-themed educational competition, offer virtual LGBTQ+ ally training, and more.

Celebrating Pride in the workplace is important for several reasons! It promotes inclusivity and diversity, boosts employee morale and engagement, and encourages positive change. It sends the message that everyone is welcome and valued. It can also lead to increased productivity and retention rates when employees feel like they can show up as their full selves.

Many in-person Pride Month celebrations can be re-imagined for online! Whether it’s Pride-themed trivia, a Pride musical party, or a Pride-themed celebratory game competition, these are all easy to re-create online. These are all great ways to create an open and welcoming safe space for folks who are part of the LGBTQ+ community and allies to come together in an online environment.
