Wine and Cheese Day (July 25)
We love an after-work happy hour, and no better time to organize a happy hour than Wine and Cheese Day. Whether you do this virtually by shipping everyone snack boxes and wine, or whether you organize it in-person at your office, be sure to give a nod to this day with a fun after-work activity.
Intern Day (last Thursday in July)
National Intern Day is one that you definitely don’t want to forget to have on your workplace events calendar. By this point in the summer, you’ve likely gotten to know your interns pretty well and they may only have a few weeks left at their internship. Host a fun event in honor of National Intern Day, and give your interns the send-off that they deserve.
System Administrator Appreciation Day (last Friday in July)
These days, every company has a tech system, and this is a day that recognizes the IT administrators and professionals who help to ensure that everything at the company is running smoothly from a digital perspective. These are the ones that you call when there’s a technical issue, and they’re always there to save the day. Use this day on your workplace events calendar to respect them and give a showcase to your system administrators to share their contributions to the company. Send your system administrators a gift card to a favorite restaurant or coffee shop to thank them for all that they do to enable the technology systems at your company.
